I’m Steve McDonald—a Canadian illustrator, international best-selling author, and enthusiastic explorer at the intersection of art and technology. My creative roots lie in highly detailed line drawings and fantastical architectural landscapes, often described as escapist fantastical realism.
In recent years, I’ve been diving deep into the world of AI-powered image-making, blending my love for traditional illustration with innovative digital tools to push creative boundaries.
